After the release of much anticipated Blizzard game Diablo 3 has become the fastest-selling computer game in history, says developer Blizzard Entertainment, with 3.5 million copies shifted during the well-anticipated title’s first 24 hours of availability.
The day one sales figure doesn’t include a further 1.2 million players whose copies of the dungeon-crawling, monster-infested mouse clicking frenzy were included as part of a World of Warcraft Annual Pass promo deal.
